A Piece of Tatami
I put a tatami on the footrest for its comfortable touch and well breathing. With the arc of footrest at the bottom, people could put feet naturally. For keeping the breathable feature of tatami, I put another tatami at the bottom surface instead of board. The four sides of maple are assembled by mortise joint which increasing the strength of structure and details.
將榻榻米給人的舒適印象與透氣性放到腳凳上，腳凳底部的弧度讓腳可以用自然的角度舒服地放著。為了保持榻榻米的透氣性，踏板底面以一片榻榻米取代木板。楓木四邊以榫接接合，增加結構強度與美觀。
